HOT TAPPING PIPE CAMERA is an innovative technology that allows the camera to inspect the inside of a water supply pipe under high water pressure without stopping the water supply.
To explain more specifically, it is a method of taking a video while wrapping the pipe SADDLED on the outside of the pipe and applying HOT TAPPING technology to make a hole on the surface of the water supply pipe in the LIVE state, and insert the endoscope into the pipe.

 

Ordinary endoscopes or PUSH ROD cameras have water proofing that can withstand water pressure of up to 1KGf/cm (0.1 MPa). Therefore, usually it cannot be used inside the water supply pipe that is pressurized with high water pressure up to 10Kgf/cm (1.0MPa) PROCAM-W has the waterproof ability to see inside the water supply pipe with high water pressure, and it is equipped with HD resolution camera, sufficient lighting, and a semi-rigid cable that can inspect sections up to 50 meters.

Inspection Procedure

Connect the cable from the cable reel to the <WINDER> connection on the right side of the controller. Since the cable is twisted, connect it by twisting and pushing. (It’s easier to connect if you look closely at the shape of the initial cable connection.) If you want to view on a tablet, attach the HDMI cable to the in and out slots. And insert the power cord and plug in the adapter power cable.

Turn the controller power on and check the battery residual capacity. If the screen boots up with ROBOCAM HD on the screen, then it is functioning well. If the camera is functioning well, then turn right the light control knob to its maximum power.

Connect the shaft pipe to the saddle, which is already connected to the water supply. From here, rotate the shaft pipe in clockwise direction to connect, and release the lock lever to prevent the black cable from rotating together at the thin pipe at the top of the shaft pipe. (Otherwise, the cable might turn at the same time and break) After the shaft pipe is connected to the saddle, turn the saddle’s head valve clockwise and bend it to a right angle, and once it’s connected, it’s now being ready to film.

Open the folded handle and hold it tight with both hands, push the shaft pipe downward. If you can feel that the end of the pipe has descended to the bottom of the tube, grab the cable and push it through the shaft pipe to enter the inside the pipe.

Press the record button on a controller panel to start the inspection. Before recording, check if the date or the distance meter is correct. In the case of the distance meter, the number is added or deducted when the cable winch rotates, so place the camera head in the pipeline and make the distance meter 0 (zero) by pressing the <F1> button on the keyboard when you start.
